Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FaceRating ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

FaceRating analyzes a selfie photo you upload with an AI vision model and returns geometric measurements: an overall harmony score, a face-shape label, per-dimension scores, and — for purchased full reports — region scores and a styling plan. The Service is an entertainment and educational tool. Scores reflect AI-measured facial geometry and proportions. They are not a judgment of your worth, health, or attractiveness, and they are not medical, dermatological, psychological, or surgical advice.

Eligibility and Your Photo

• You must be at least 18 years old, or use the Service under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
• You may only upload a photo of yourself, or a photo you own and have explicit permission to use. Uploading photos of other people without their consent is prohibited.
• You must not upload photos containing illegal content, or images that are not a real human face.

Credits, Payments and Refunds

• Scans consume credits. Free accounts may receive welcome credits; additional credits are purchased as one-time packages.
• Prices are shown before checkout and processed by our payment providers (Stripe, Creem, or PayPal). We never see or store your card details.
• Reports are digital goods delivered instantly. Because the analysis runs the moment your scan completes, completed reports are not refundable, except where the analysis demonstrably failed to produce a result. If a payment succeeded but no report was generated, contact us and we will re-run the scan or refund the order.
• We may change pricing for future purchases at any time; changes do not affect credits you already own.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload photos of anyone other than yourself without their explicit consent.
• Use the Service to harass, rank, or demean other people.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service; resell access to it.
• Misrepresent AI-generated scores as professional (medical, cosmetic, or psychological) assessments.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without refund.

Intellectual Property

• Your photo remains yours. You grant us only the limited license needed to run the analysis and display the result back to you.
• The reports, scores, text, design, and code of the Service are owned by us. You may share your own report for personal, non-commercial use.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is". AI analysis can be inaccurate, especially with poor lighting, angled faces, filters, or obscured features. Scores may vary between scans of the same photo. We make no warranty that the results are accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose, and we are not liable for decisions you make based on them — including any cosmetic, medical, or personal decision.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the new Terms.
